- The Sandalwood Walkover– work started plan ADA-American Disabilities Act- requirements to be met and plan to be finished by Memorial Day. The Va. Pilot reported Fishing Pier to be rebuilt also

- Spring Fling – May 23rd– 4PM -7PM in the Cape Story Park– rain Date May 30th – a chance to submit THEMES For JULY 4th PARADE- Volunteers needed – Call Todd Solomon: 667-8533
- VBgov web site survey request- citizens survey requested by City to improve Web site, online at www.VBgov.com/surveys – click on “Redesign VBgov.com” – available until May 16, 2010
- Shore Drive Safety Initiative – subcommittee meetings in May-David Williams, Shore Drive Safety Initiative 2010 Chairman CSBTS and CHS were the two primary civic associations behind the 35 mph on our section of Shore Drive. - VBCCO-: May 12, 2010 – 7PM at the Meyera Obendorf Central library-will hear arguments for and against the proposal to allow electronic billboards. Whichever side of this issue you are on –or even if you don’t know what the buzz is all about- you won’t want to miss this meeting
