Lesner Bridge Project Presentation – Monday Jan 13th at 7:30pm in the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel

Lesner Bridge Replacement Project Presentation

Chris Wojtowicz, City of Virginia Beach Project Manager, will be attending the Monday January 13th Cape Story by the Sea Civic Association general meeting to provide an update and to answer questions regarding this major 3 year project.  The general meeting will take place at 7:30pm in the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center.

How will 3 years of construction impact Shore Drive?

How many lanes of traffic will be maintained during construction?

What will the new bridge look like?

Will pedestrians be allowed to cross the bridge during construction?

Holiday Event Schedule for Cape Story

Wow what a neighborhood, even the Grinch and Scrooge could find something to make them happy in Cape Story.

Saturday Dec. 7th – Cape Santa from 1-3pm

Sunday Dec. 8th – Shore Drive Santa Pub Crawl from Noon to 6pm

Wednesday Dec. 11th – Cape Story Civic Association Holiday Party from 7:30pm to 9:00pm in the VB Resort Hotel Sunset Room.  Quick meeting to be followed by party in the Tradewinds lounge.  Lewis McGee will be play.  Appetizers are free and a cash bar will be available.

Thursday Dec. 12th – Stumbling and Mumbling Carolers, meet at 6pm at 2214 Oak St.

Friday Dec. 20th – Last day to turn in Holiday Giving items to support our local soldiers and their families.  Items to be dropped off at 2219 Bayberry St.  See link for more information https://capestory.wordpress.com/2013/12/03/cape-story-holiday-giving-items-due-by-dec-20th/

Saturday Dec. 21st – Holiday Light Contest Judging starting around 6pm.  CSBTS officers will be travelling the neighborhood judging lights in several categories.  Winners get a 1 year free membership to Cape Story Civic Association.
